Our Story

Schakolad Chocolate Factory has been our labor of love since October 2019, when we — Jane and Darryn, a mother-daughter team — fell head over heels for a little chocolate boutique in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg and never looked back.

What drew us in? The location, the creativity and the pure joy of making people happy through handcrafted chocolate. What kept us going is everything that's happened since — the regulars who stop in daily for their coffee, croissant and a little something sweet, the corporate clients who trust us to represent their brand, the tourists looking for an amazing frozen hot chocolate or coffee and every customer in between who leaves with a smile.

We make a good team. Darryn keeps the wheels turning, making sure everything runs smoothly day to day. Jane drives the corporate side of the business and handles product planning and production — always thinking about what's next. Together, we've built something we're genuinely proud of.

We're not just selling chocolate. We're creating moments — from a simple daily indulgence to a gift that makes a lasting impression. And we wouldn't have it any other way.
